What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in your browser. Other mechanisms, such as localStorage, can also retain information on your device. Technical tools serve functions you request; optional tracking requires a separate assessment and, when required, prior consent.
The current website
This version does not enable advertising, profiling or external analytics. There are no embedded social feeds, maps or video services. Photographs, films and fonts are hosted on the website; English pages are translated locally without sending your visit to a translation service.
Privacy notice preference
The technical localStorage entry chiodi_privacy_notice_v1 records only the notice version and the time you dismiss it. The preference is valid for 180 days; an expired entry is removed on your next visit. You can remove it earlier through your browser settings. It is shared by Italian and English pages on the same origin. It does not contain a visitor ID, authorise marketing or record consent to optional services. If storage is unavailable, the site still works and the notice may appear again.
Administration and hosting
Restricted WordPress access may use technical cookies such as wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* and wp-settings-* preferences. These support authentication, security and administrator settings; they are not visitor profiling tools and are not required to browse the public pages. Their persistence depends on the login session and selected access settings. Technical infrastructure may also process connection data for delivery, caching and security, as described in the privacy notice.
Your choices
The notice is informational because no optional tracking is enabled. “Understood” and the close button dismiss it; “Cookie details” opens the information panel. You can reopen it using “Cookie settings” in the footer, and remove stored data through your browser settings. The site does not interpret scrolling or navigation as consent.
If services change
Any future analytics, advertising or external embeds must be assessed and, where required, blocked until a valid choice is made. This technical-only notice does not grant consent for future services.
